Oracle Inventory / BOM Consultant

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Inventory / Bill of Materials (BOM) Consultant to support the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Oracle ERP Inventory and BOM modules. The consultant will work closely with business users to understand requirements, configure solutions, and ensure smooth integration with related Oracle modules.
Key Responsibilities:

Implement and support Oracle Inventory and BOM modules

Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional solutions

Configure Inventory setups including organizations, sub-inventories, locators, items, and transactions

Configure BOM structures, routings, and costing-related setups

Support integrations with Procurement, Manufacturing, Costing, and Order Management modules

Prepare functional design documents (FDD), setup documents, and user manuals

Perform system testing (SIT/UAT) and provide production support

Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues related to Inventory and BOM
-
Train end users and provide post-implementation support
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong experience in Oracle Inventory and BOM modules (Oracle EBS or Oracle Fusion SCM)

Good understanding of inventory management, BOM lifecycle, and manufacturing processes

Experience with item master, BOM creation, and transaction processing

Knowledge of costing concepts and supply chain flows

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Good communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Oracle Fusion SCM Cloud

Exposure to Manufacturing, Cost Management, or WIP modules
-
Oracle certification is a plus
