Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle HCM Technical Developer. The ideal candidate will have proven hands-on experience developing custom extensions within the Oracle HCM Cloud environment using the PaaS platform, reports using Oracle HCM Cloud's reporting tools such as FDI,OTBI, BIP and SplashBI. This role requires a strong background in SQL, PLSQL, and experience with Oracle R12 and Oracle HCM Cloud, including Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, and the underlying base tables, APIs, and the functional/technical aspects of Oracle HR/HCM.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop custom applications and extensions within the Oracle HCM Cloud. environment using the PaaS platform (e.g., Oracle APEX, Oracle Visual Builder).
Build and maintain ETL processes for extracting and transforming HR data from various sources.
Develop reporting solutions using Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI, SplashBI, FDI, and other reporting tools to provide actionable insights for HR leadership including but not limited to employee information, payroll, benefits, and workforce analytics.
Play a critical role in supporting the application lifecycle (develop, test, release and support) based on detailed requirements and guidance from team / management.
Triage production issues and work with multiple teams to perform problem analysis.
Work with the Technical team to populate FBDI templates, load and enhance inbound data, and test the conversion end-to-end.
Create and optimize HCM Extracts to extract and load data into various systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reports meet business needs and comply with data governance standards.
Required Qualifications:
Oracle ERP Cloud, OIC, and Oracle E-Business support experience.
Proven experience as an Oracle R12 HR and Oracle HCM Reports Developer.
Experience with Oracle Cloud modules such as Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, etc.
5+ years with Oracle Applications, including experience performing data conversions and reconciliations into Oracle HCM Cloud and developing reports.
3+ years creating functional specifications, working with FBDI templates, Data mapping, and reconciliation of converted data.
In-depth knowledge of Oracle HCM cloud data models to effectively write reports.
Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle database concepts.
Hands-on experience with FDI, OTBI, BIP, SplashBI, and HCM Extracts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Oracle HCM Cloud.
