Oracle Discrete Manufacturing Consultant

100% Remote

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Discrete Manufacturing Consultant to implement, configure, and support Oracle Manufacturing modules for discrete manufacturing environments. The consultant will work closely with business users to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver end-to-end Oracle Fusion / EBS manufacturing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and support Oracle Discrete Manufacturing modules including:

    • Bills of Material (BOM)

    • Work in Process (WIP)

    • Inventory Management

    • Cost Management

  • Analyze business processes and map them to Oracle Manufacturing functionalities.

  • Configure setups for routings, work orders, resources, work centers, and production scheduling.

  • Support manufacturing transactions such as work order creation, material issue, completions, and backflushing.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SCM, Finance, Procurement) for integrated solutions.

  • Prepare functional design documents (BRD, MD050, setup documents).

  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT.

  • Provide end-user training and post-go-live support.

  • Troubleshoot manufacturing and production-related issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Discrete Manufacturing (Oracle Fusion Manufacturing or Oracle EBS).

  • Good understanding of discrete manufacturing business processes.

  • Experience in BOM, WIP, Inventory, and Costing modules.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing costing, variance analysis, and period close processes.

  • Ability to work with technical teams for reports, interfaces, and conversions.

  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle Fusion Manufacturing implementation experience.

  • Experience with ASCP / Planning Central is a plus.

  • Oracle certification in Manufacturing or SCM modules.

  • Experience in end-to-end implementation and support projects.
