Oracle Business Intelligence Consultant
Duration: 3 month +
Location: Remote. If suitable resource is available in Dallas, TX areas, that will be preferable for possibility of onsite work in the future.

Pre-Qualifying Questions:
1. Have you been deeply involved in at least one BI App implementation project
2. Do you have expertise in OBIEE RPD design?
3. Have you done development in ODI?

Oracle Business Intelligence- OBIEE 12c Repository (RPD), ODI with BI Apps 11.1.1x, ODI, BI Cloud adaptors
The Business Intelligence Architect is responsible for the overall architecture, model and solution design of Overhead Door’s Business Intelligence application suite. This position will assist in the implementation of the OBIEE environment and the solution design for BI in general. This individual will help lead a team comprised of BI specialists in Architecture, ETL, Reporting and Data Modeling.

Skills/Experience Requirements
Experience with OBI (Oracle BI) versions 12c, includes significant exposure to BI Apps (OBIA)
Experience with ETL tools (Informatica and ODI)
Exposure to Oracle E-Business Suite (12.2.5 or higher)
Proven experience in performing conceptual, logical and physical data modeling in a highly complex environment.
Experience with Data Warehousing, Data Marts and OLAP environments.
Must have expertise in the following:
ODI with BI Apps 11.1.1x
OBIEE 12c Repository (RPD)
Exposure to BI Cloud adaptors
BI Apps exposure to: Financials, Procure and Spend, Supply Chain\Order Management, HCM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Overall technical owner and administrator for OBIEE and any supplemental BI Solutions.
Create and maintain the end to end architecture and security for all BI Applications. Develop and maintain a governance model for standardization of BI procedures and reports by publishing a best practice standard.
Maintain daily ETL loads and development of new models
Maintenance of Repository (RPD)
Conduct design sessions with data owners toward capturing business requirement for an analytics environment.
Work closely with end user community to enhance and improve the user experience architecture look and feel.
Work with other IT groups including the PMO department to gather design requirements. Create technical design documents based on the functional requirements.
Develop back end oracle data marts in OBIEE for Business Intelligence, Reporting and Analytics.
Gain an understanding from business users of requirements for reporting Metrics, KPIs and standard analytics. Transform these requirements into Business Intelligence solutions available to end users.
This position is responsible for maintaining a very high level of technical expertise on industry standards concerning business intelligence applications and processes.
Create a certification process for reports, analytics and metrics to be used by the business.
Provide support to users
Document and deliver technical specifications
Day to Day activities:
Maintenance, support and troubleshooting of daily data loads (ETL)
Development of new ETL
Repository updates and changes
Support existing project activities and updates\patching as required
