JOB DESCRIPTION
- Seeking an experienced Enterprise Content and Records Management (ECRM) Solution Developer. This contract position is responsible for developing applications and solutions in OpenText Content Suite and assisting with the on-going configuration, maintenance, and support of company's OpenText Content Management system.
- This position requires a combination of technical, business analysis, and user support skills. The ideal candidate has 3-4 years of hands-on experience designing and developing ECRM solutions in very large, geographically distributed environments as well as several years providing application support to end users. Also, the ideal candidate must also have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable working with technical and non-technical team members, customers, and management.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, configure, and deploy business solutions for OpenText Content Server, OpenText Enterprise Scan, and OpenText Capture Center
- Work with 3rd party implementation partners to assist with application deployment, configuration, training, and post-deployment support
- Work with systems administrators to monitor application performance and troubleshoot problems
- Provide installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrade of 3rd party integration products related to OpenText.
- Act as a backup to OpenText Administrator for system administration tasks in OpenText environments (PROD, QA, and DEV) in a distributed Windows environment
- Participate in disaster recovery testing activities
- Produce appropriate design, deployment, and support documentation for solutions and applications
- Provide after-hours and weekend support in emergency situations
- Other duties as assigned
JOB SKILLS: Required
- 5+ years of experience working in the IT domain for a large corporate or public sector entity
- 5+ years of experience developing and configuring applications for enterprise content management system (e.g. OpenText, SharePoint, Onbase, FileBound, etc)
- 3-4 years hands on experience working with OpenText Content Server version 9.x, 10.x, or 16.x as administrator, configurator, or developer
- Strong knowledge of OpenText Content Server capabilities, including:
- Content Server Fundamentals
- Custom Views
- Web Forms
- Appearances
- Live Reports
- CIS Modeling
- Taxonomy
- Categories and Attributes
- Users, Groups, and Security
- Workflow
- Web Reports
- Enterprise Scan
- OpenText Capture Center
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication (written, verbal, and listening) skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Ability to work independently and as contributing member of a tea
