• The Solution Architect performs solution design ensuring infrastructure and application best practices are leveraged for various business lines for Cloud or On-Prem deployments.
Responsibilities
o Accountability for infrastructure solutions architecture for given projects, ensuring appropriate standards and processes are developed, established, and followed
o Leads the development of future state business area architectures in an organized and cohesive manner using enterprise architecture frameworks, working proactively to create business competitive advantage, focus on cost, and maximize design.
Specific Requirements -
- 10+ years of overall IT / technical services experience with bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field of Information Technology.
- Capable of working in a growth-oriented environment, with ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent requests, projects, and responsibilities.
- Experience with various middleware technologies and databases.
- Infrastructure architecture experience – Cloud, Hybrid and Private hosting
Fundamental understanding of the following technology areas:
- Compute (Linux, Windows)
- Networking (LAN, WAN, WLAN)
- Storage (SAN) and Backup
- Virtualization (Server and Storage), Public, Hybrid and Private clouds
- Web Technology (Web Servers, Application Servers, Load Balancers)
- Security technology and processes - e.g. firewalls, intrusion prevention, compliance monitoring, vulnerability management
