Network Engineer
Location: Boston, MA Northeast(Need Anyone from Northeast Side) Onsite
Duration: 12 months contract
Work Auth: All Visas
Interview Mode : Video/Phone
Responsibilities:
•Visit up to five (5) sites per night per technician, 10-15 sites total per night. (up to 150 miles total distance travelled per technician)
•Migrate, or run net new cabling up to two (2) cable runs per site
•Technician will troubleshoot fiber (cleaner, light meter, etc.)
Qualifications:
•3 to 7 years of experience in a technical role
•Ability to differentiate optics (QSFP vs SFP)
•Ability to differentiate fiber types (SC-SC, SC-LC)
•Ability to clean fiber jumpers and fiber panels – needs cleaning tools
•Ability to drive to different sites
•Ability to join WebEx remotely on a laptop
•Basic network troubleshooting experience/concepts
•Ability to drive to different sites
