Title: Mobile Software Quality Assurance Engineer Location: Plano, TX Overview AT&T Big Data team is hiring a proven Mobile Software Quality Assurance Engineer to validate iQ Agent integration on target devices. We are looking for people who are driven by releasing high quality solutions; solving challenging validation problems with creative solutions; has proven to communicate clearly Testing Status and lead RCA for issues found. Superstar candidates are going to Certify Devices without unknown issues found after launch. Successful Candidates will: Lead designated Quality Assurance Projects and deliver status reports and results in schedule. Develop, Execute, Validate test cases, document results, log issues found and lead RCA to closure. Develop and automate test plans based on product requirements increasing test coverage. Strong test automation development experience for Android OS. In-depth understanding on Android Device testing tools, including debugging, and define AOSP release impact on existing SW. Collaborate with project managers and development teams to capture validation requirements and audit test coverage. Minimum Qualifications: 3+ year of Android App (APK) or Android Device Test Automation Experience. 1+ year of embedded software test experience with a solid track record of validating wireless protocols for internal and external customers. Experience with Rohde & Schwarz CMW500 network simulator or similar equipment Some script language (shell, bash, python) knowledge required Deep understanding on the key aspects of embedded software validation and debugging tools (logcat, QXDM, PCAP, Network Simulator log) Demonstrable experience of complete mobile device/application test cycle from product requirement definition to customer release.
