Title: Methods Agent (Aerospace Manufacturing) Location: Montreal, QC Mode: Full Time Experience: 10-12 years of overall experience in Aerospace domain Minimum of 6-8 years in Manufacturing domain, Shop Floor support and Methods Engineering Exposure to Aircraft Primary, Secondary Structures and Systems Tools/Applications: CATIA V5, ENOVIA, 3D VIA, SAP and MS Office Title: Logistics Agent (Aerospace Manufacturing) Location: Montreal, QC Mode: Full Time 8-10 years of overall experience in Aerospace domain Minimum of 6-8 years in Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Logistics for purchased aeronautical parts Tools/Applications: SAP, ERP and MS Office High Level Skillset Requirement: Responsible for managing change management projects, finding the best sources of supplies, and making Goods available to Customers, in Quantity, Quality, Costs and Deadline and in line with the expressed needs. Details: Manage change management projects for purchased aeronautical parts. Manage and coordinate multi-business meetings. Communicate and work with different disciplines to advance a project Good knowledge of Aeronautical sector and the various commodities of the parts purchased. Read and interpret Engineering Drawings. Develop strategic business relationships with various sources of supply. Develop negotiation strategies. Initiate and monitor the order until it is put into stock. Operation and calculation of the types of replenishment (Kanban, re-supply on stock) and know which replenishment to apply according to the flows. Follow up with suppliers in order to guarantee on-time delivery of the order. Anticipate slippage and propose a secure delivery plan in the event of slippage. Handle reception and invoicing disputes and supplier returns. Analyze supplier advances / delays. Analyze the root causes of failure and get the supplier to take corrective actions. Manage levels of stock in line with stock objectives. Update MRP parameters (type of planning, cycle, mini-order, etc according to the procurement policy and stock strategy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in French language is a must (Should be able to communicate effectively) Skills: High Level Skillset Requirement: Provide technical support to production operators and master an assembly line in terms of industrialization and assembly. Be in direct contact with the Purchasing Department, in order to support any supplier questions. Details: Master the assembly phases of the assigned Work Center positions and anticipate the associated risks. Interpret, verify and approve drawings and other documents from the engineering department. Establish strategies for assembling and manufacturing aircraft components. Preparing and presenting projects for validation with different functions. Lead meetings and keep different follow-up files up to date. Keeping performance indicators (KPI) up-to-date. Preparing and presenting progress status to different levels of management. Manage activities of various phases of projects: feasibility study, project mandate and business plan, acquisition, implementation and production. Harmonize implementation of changes in engineering or assembly and materials, quality and production. Manage requests for changes that occur during project completion. Develop risk management plans that include mitigation plans. Participate in problem-solving and recovery plans. Participate in continuous improvement of project management processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in French language is a must (Should be able to communicate effectively) Qualifications: Knowledge of assembly processes (key features of a simple or complex assembly tool, capability analysis tool. Know-how to read and interpret technical drawings. Know-how to use and interpret aviation standards. Know-how to create a range of manufacturing and/or interpret it. Mastering the principles of (GD&T) general dimensioning and tolerances. Knowledge of Fabricated detail parts would be a plus.
