We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications through manual testing. The candidate will work closely with development and product teams to identify defects and ensure that deliverables meet business requirements.
Analyze requirements and prepare test cases and test scenarios
Perform manual testing including functional, regression, smoke, and UAT testing
Identify, log, and track defects using defect tracking tools
Verify bug fixes and perform re-testing
Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to clarify requirements
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and review meetings
Prepare test execution reports and quality status updates
Ensure adherence to QA processes and standards
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent
1–4 years of experience in Manual Testing (adjust as needed)
Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
Experience in writing clear and detailed test cases
Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology
Basic understanding of databases and SQL
API testing knowledge (Postman)
Exposure to automation testing tools
Experience in mobile or web application testing
Domain experience (Banking, Healthcare, E-commerce, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and documentation skills
Attention to detail and quality mindset
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
