Job Title: Pricefx Technical Resource Position Summary The Pricefx Architect is responsible for the end-to-end architecture, design, and implementation of the Pricefx pricing platform. This role leads solution design, integration strategy, pricing data models, and optimization frameworks to support enterprise pricing transformation initiatives. The Pricefx Architect collaborates with business stakeholders (Pricing, Sales, Finance), IT teams, and integration partners to deliver scalable, data-driven pricing solutions that improve margin performance, operational efficiency, and pricing governance. Key Responsibilities Architecture & Solution Design Lead architecture design for Pricefx implementations (Price Management, CPQ, Rebate Management, Optimization Design pricing data models including products, customers, price lists, rebates, agreements, and cost structures. Define pricing logic frameworks (formulas, calculations, waterfall structures Ensure scalable and high-performance system design. Implementation & Configuration Configure Pricefx modules (Price Lists, Live Price Grids, Rebates Develop custom pricing logic using Groovy scripting. Design dashboards and analytics within Pricefx. Configure workflows, approvals, and governance controls. Lead system upgrades and performance tuning. Integration & Data Management Architect integrations between Pricefx and ERP (In-house developed, Sterling OMS), and data warehouses. Define inbound/outbound data flows for pricing, cost, sales, and rebate data. Oversee API integrations and middleware solutions. Lead data migration and validation processes. Ensure high data quality and consistency across systems. Optimization & Analytics Design price optimization models and margin analysis frameworks. Implement segmentation strategies and pricing rules. Support advanced analytics and reporting. Collaborate with Finance and Sales to measure pricing impact. Governance & Leadership Establish pricing governance framework and approval workflows. Lead technical workshops and design sessions. Provide architectural oversight to Pricefx developers and analysts. Mentor team members and enforce development best practices. Ensure compliance with enterprise security and IT standards. Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience in pricing systems, pricing strategy, or enterprise applications. 3+ years of hands-on experience with Pricefx implementation. Strong experience in pricing architecture and data modeling. Experience integrating Pricefx with ERP and CRM platforms. Experience with Groovy scripting within Pricefx. Strong understanding of pricing strategies (cost-plus, value-based, discount management, rebates Preferred Qualifications Pricefx certification. Experience in retail or distribution industries. Knowledge of data warehousing and BI tools. Agile/Scrum methodology experience.
