About the job
- the role requires broad, hands-on MQ experience on the mainframe.
- This person will be backfilling many of our day-to-day responsibilities because our SMEs will be pulled onto a major project.
- Given the size and complexity of our environment, training someone from scratch would take four to five months, so we need someone who can contribute across multiple areas right away.
- The more direct MQ experience they have, the better.
- I don t want to bring someone in who needs to be taught the mainframe from scratch they need to have that knowledge coming in.
- We re looking for strong mainframe MQ skills so they can backfill work and support the many changes we handle in our environment.
- The more experience they have, the more responsibilities they can take on across different areas. Having a versatile, hands-on MQ resource is a significant advantage for us.
- IIB is a plus.
