Position: Mainframe CICS Bill Rate: $Negotiable Location: Richardson, TX Duration: 6 Months Key Skills: MQ, CICS, CPSM CICS Plex administration Working with IBM support or vendor for problem resolution Participate in CICS install/upgrade Install/Upgrade CICS ISV products - SYSDUMP, Intertest, CAFC etc. Base installation of the software products for cloning Support CTG, CICS Explorer Setting up new MQ Clusters Troubleshooting issues with MQ clusters Setting up and troubleshooting - Queue sharing groups Customizing CSQZPARM for MQ Recovering Queue managers after failures System documentation and work instructions after transition Setting up SSL for MQ Setting up channel authentication for MQ MQ monitoring tools- CSQOREXX, MO71 Support DR exercise for CICS & MQ Coordination with other teams (z/os, storage, mq, automation, ops etc Programming languages - Assembler, REXX, Cobol etc. Application Programmer Technical Assistance Oncall Support System checks after critical changes like zOS upgrade Incident/change management Participate in major incident resolution & root cause analysis Audit compliance
