Job Description :
QA Tester Direct Client Need
Duration: Long Term
Location: Southfield, MI

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting a web application as a business/quality analyst
Strong understanding of web technology
Experience with SDLC
Basic understanding of Client-Server technologies
Ability to query database (SQL)
Work onsite at the required client work location
Possesses good understanding of the technical platforms (databases, web applications)

Preferred:

Testing certifications
Experience writing unit tests or UAT tests
Knowledge of testing tools like Quality Control, Selenium, Robot, Cucumber, AutoIT or
Bugzilla
Knowledge of scripting language like Python
Knowledge of Confluence and JIRA
Experience testing applications created using Oracle APEX

Knowledge and Skills:

Ability to be able to respond promptly and effectively to problems, projects and tasks
You need to be organized, with ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple requests
You need to be able to gain trust of others and builds solid relationships across and vertically throughout the organization and relate well to all customers
You need to be able to convey complex information in a timely and easily understood manner throughout all levels of the organization
You need to be able to demonstrate initiative by being proactive in work duties and making recommendations as opportunities arise
You need to be self-driven, motivated to help, and able to perform with minimal supervision in a team environment
Ability to solve problems at the source by offering simple, working solutions
Ability to communicate changes clearly, concisely, and objectively (verbally & in writing)
Be able to anticipate the impact of a change or project across multiple systems
