Job Description :
Oracle PL/SQL with Database Administrator experience-Direct Client Need
Location : Southfield ,MI


Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience administering Oracle databases 11g or 12c
Experience in performance tuning
Proficiency in PL/SQL coding, troubleshooting, and performance tuning experience in a high availability environment
Experience in an Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC) environment
Experience with Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM)
Experience installing, upgrading, and patching databases
Proficient in Unix Shell Scripting
Participate in 24x7 on-call rotational schedule
Have the ability to access the client remotely with personal provided hardware when on-call
Work onsite at the assigned client work location

Preferred:

Experience as DBA in a J2EE environment
Oracle DBA certification

Knowledge and Skills:

Be organized, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple requests
Work with a high sense of urgency to accomplish tasks within deadlines and service level agreements
Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
Ability to demonstrate problem-solving skills and make quick decisions
Ability to be assertive but always diplomatic
Be self-driven, motivated to help, and able to perform with minimal supervision in a team environment
Be detail orientated, highly organized, and capable of meeting all deadlines
Remain positive, professional, determined, calm and focused when faced with challenging situations
Be a quick thinker, with an ability to understand and interpret information promptly and effectively
