Legacy Systems Analyst

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of multiple Legacy Systems business processes supported by software systems/products;
Documents Legacy Systems business processes, business requirements and reporting requirements
Create and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix
Analyzes and documents “as-is” and “to-be” scenarios (processes, models, use cases, plans and solutions) for requested enhancements;
Leads Systems requirements reviews, design reviews, and change control activities;
Performed Source system analysis (SSA) to identify the source data that needs to be moved into the target tables
Perform Data Analysis and Data validation by writing SQL queries to support root cause analysis of Production Defects.
Innovate new ways to standardize existing data processes and optimizing current workflows
Create custom data sets for use for our Analytics teams as requested
Create Data Mapping documents, data dictionaries and Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
Create System process flows and data flows associated with system implementation of a business function
Support developing a Business Requirements Document (BRD) and building User acceptance Scenarios as requested
Create Release Artifacts and Training manuals for end-user consumption
Defines and implements standards, methods and procedures for requirements gathering and documentation;
Works as part of Scrum Development Team and effectively participates in sprint planning, task estimates, task sequencing, task assignments, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
