Greetings! Veear Projects is looking for excellent English teachers for our Client. This is for an after school learning center. Please look at the requirements below and reach us if interested. Position: After-School English Teacher Location : San Jose, CA Full time or Part time both ok. For full time salary is $48k. For part time hourly rate is $22/hr. Working hours : 40 hours a week. SATURDAY'S ARE MUST. Working experience with the learning center plus. Good communication skills. Good Education background from well reputable university. For Fulltime : Salary, plus benefits, 401k, Equity share. For part time : No benefits. Responsibilities: Supervise elementary and middle school students in learning English on a web-based platform, mostly online and sometimes in-person at learning centers Monitor students' progress and communicate with parents and students about students' learning Answer students' questions by text, audio or video Conduct one-on-one sessions through Zoom or in-person as needed Administer diagnostic tests and conduct orientation for new students Requirements: Proficient in elementary and middle school level English Excellent communication skills Able to build good rapport with parents and students Mature and strong sense of responsibility Able to work collaboratively and a good team player Able to work during after-school hours and weekends (especially Saturdays) At least a bachelor's degree Previous teaching experience is a plus
