Automation Tester Job Description Works with Scrum/Agile team to establish and support the execution of automated tests on the Continuous Integration Environment for Functional and Regression Testing Creates, modifies and executes automated tests, test scripts and test suites including functional and regression tests Executes both manual and automated tests. Analyzes execution results to determine the reason for test failures Ensures clear and prompt reporting on a build/release status for all stakeholders based on test run execution results Develops expertise in the Insurance Application Hub applications and maintains a solid knowledge with respect to automated testing tools and techniques Provides requirements for the format of manual tests to be automated and/or executed Reviews manual tests that are subject for automation and provides feedback on value of automating or execution as a manual test Reviews automated tests, test scripts and test suites implemented by other automation testers and provides feedback Proposes improvements / optimizations to existing automation framework Contributes to the review and development of QA standards, policies and procedures Skills Minimum five years of experience in QA test automation with an object oriented programming language (JAVA) Strong collaboration skills SDLC and testing methodology Web-application automation tools (Selenium) Main automation design patterns Testing framework (JUnit, TestNG) Education Undergraduate studies in computer science and engineering, management information systems or related degree
