Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Analytics Lead Specialist Engineer to lead data-driven initiatives and provide technical leadership in designing, developing, and implementing advanced analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data engineering, data visualization, advanced analytics, and cloud data platforms. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to transform business requirements into actionable insights and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end data analytics initiatives including requirement gathering, design, development, and deployment.

  • Architect and implement scalable data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, and analytical frameworks.

  • Work with large datasets and develop solutions to support business intelligence, reporting, and predictive analytics.

  • Lead data governance, data quality, and metadata management strategies.

  • Design and develop dashboards, reporting solutions, and visual analytics using leading BI tools.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand analytics needs and deliver insightful recommendations.

  • Evaluate new analytics technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve data processes.

  • Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance across data engineering and analytics initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with security standards, performance optimization, and data privacy regulations.

  • Support ad-hoc analytical requests and facilitate data-driven decision-making.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • 12+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or business intelligence roles.

  • Strong expertise with SQL, Python, and data warehousing concepts.

  • Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and data pipeline development.

  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (data services such as Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, Synapse, or Databricks).

  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance.

  • Advanced experience with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.

  • Ability to interpret complex data, communicate findings clearly, and present insights to executive leadership.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience in machine learning, predictive analytics, or statistical modeling.

  • Knowledge of big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, or Flink.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps concepts for data solutions.

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

  • Domain experience in industries such as financial services, healthcare, retail, or technology.

  • Experience leading distributed and cross-functional teams.
