Start Date: Immediate
Contract Position: Data Engineer
Location: NYC & NJ (Englewood cliffs)Local Preferred
Contract Duration: 6 Months +
Legal Work Status: Only(CPT,OPT/ GC/ Citizen, H4, L2)
Experience: 4- 7 +years
Basic Requirements:
Hands on experience in AWS cloud data warehouse like Snowflake.
Hands on experience in BI technologies like Power BI, Tableau etc.
Develop information data models (SQL based Calculation views) for analyzing data and generating reports.
Create database tables, views, triggers, packages, table functions and procedures using SQL/PL SQL scripts.
Experience with AWS cloud services: EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift
Work with Business & Lead Analysts to understand business processes along with reporting and analytical needs and convert those requirements into the Functional/Technical specification and Deployment documents.
Solid understanding of business process management best practices & Analytics concepts.
Good communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
Working experience on Agile based project
Working experience with JIRA
Communicate effectively with end users, development team, and management
Estimate timing and deliver results in a high paced work environment
Highly motivated and team oriented
