Position:SharePoint Developer/Administrator Location:Washington, DC Duration:Long term Position Description The Justice Management Division, Service Delivery Staff, Data Center Operation team is seeking an experienced, cleared, SharePoint Administrator for an intranet/extranet web collaboration environment. The SharePoint Administrator will be responsible for supporting applications on the SharePoint platform and providing support to the Development Team and Power Users who publish content in the SharePoint platform. Development duties includes implementation and buildout of Infrastructure and Operations sites of the web collaboration environment that allows division to collaborate, share information, and enhance productivity to meet the agency's mission. The SharePoint intranet collaboration environment is designed to foster rapid information sharing. Essential Functions Maintain normal operations of all SharePoint servers, software, processes and solutions Create and maintain SharePoint collections, sites, libraries, lists, workflows and forms Provide Level 3 support for tickets assigned to SharePoint team Triage support tickets, work tickets or assign tickets to teammates as appropriate As required, participate in requirements gathering for solution development Design, develop, and maintain solutions to be run within the SharePoint and collaboration environment Design, develop, and maintain solutions for workflow and process automation Follow existing change control processes for making changes to production including software patches and promoting solutions to production. Escalating issues to leadership as needed Proactively identify, and communicate to leadership, potential issues, problems, or enhancements in order to protect and/or optimize the SharePoint environment Identify ways to improve operational efficiencies and reduce operating costs associated with the environment Required Experience & Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Three or more years of development and integration experience in SharePoint 2016 or other similar web collaboration tool Strong database design skills (must be able to get to 3NF, identify PK/FK, understand joins) Web APIs + JavaScript Experience with InfoPath (Web services, Rules, C#/VB and/or PowerApps), or other forms technology Experience with SharePoint components including site templates, wiki pages, content types, custom workflows, etc. Self-starter with excellent communication, facilitation and time management skills Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline required.
