Jira Service Management Consultant

100% Remote

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Jira Service Management Consultant to design, implement, and optimize ITSM and ESM solutions using Jira Service Management. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable service management processes and configurations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and configure Jira Service Management for ITSM/ESM processes.

  • Design and customize workflows, request types, forms, queues, SLAs, and automations.

  • Configure incident, problem, change, service request, and knowledge management.

  • Integrate JSM with Jira Software, Confluence, and third-party tools.

  • Build dashboards, reports, and KPIs for service performance.

  • Support data migration, upgrades, and cloud/on-prem transitions.

  • Provide user training, documentation, and post-implementation support.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve JSM configuration and performance issues.

  • Advise on ITIL best practices and service management governance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Jira Service Management.

  • Good understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes.

  • Experience in workflow design, automation, and SLA configuration.

  • Knowledge of Jira permissions, roles, and schemes.

  • Experience with REST APIs and marketplace apps.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ITIL Foundation or higher certification.

  • Atlassian certifications (ACP-120, ACP-620, or equivalent).

  • Experience with Asset Management / CMDB (Assets in JSM).

  • Exposure to Jira Cloud and Data Center.
