Rate : Salary range is $40-45K annually.
Job Description :
The Information Technologies Manager is responsible for the operations, administration and support of company wide technology, including technology systems and techniques, applications, utilities, operation and staff training on computer hardware, software and peripheral equipment, telephone, printers and voice mail.
Essential functions:
* Operate and administer servers, computer workstations, and voice or network equipment; ensure back-up and security measures are followed; configure users, and perform installation and upgrades.
* Troubleshoot computer software, hardware, and voice or network problems and determine the appropriate means for resolving issues; perform routine maintenance and repair of computer software, hardware and peripherals. Schedule and oversee computer preventive maintenance.
* Monitor, manage and resolve Help Desk tickets submitted by staff.
* Provide information and guidance to employees on technology systems and techniques, applications, utilities, operation and uses of computer hardware, software and peripheral equipment, including but not limited to telep=
hone, printers and voice mail.
* Provide instructional and administrative assistance to employees and clients in computer-based training programs, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Access); Computer Basics (mouse, keyboarding, Internet), as well as training in other software applications.
* Maintain records of work activities and documentation of recurring, difficult or complex problems.
* Research and recommend software and other equipment to staff in an effort to improve departmental efficiency and productivity.
* Develop and monitor an Information Technology plan and budget for theorganization with an equipment and software replacement schedule and a proactive approach to long term budget needs.
* Provide computer technology support to organization and staff at all Goodwill locations as requested.

2. Attend safety trainings and follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe and supervised work environment for all employees at alltimes.
3. Promote positive teamwork among co-workers.
Responsible for other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications and required skills:
1. Knowledge of computer equipment and software, mobile/wireless devices, telephone system, Retail POS systems, database administration, network hardware and operating systems.
2. Ability to understand and apply computer documentation/manuals and to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical staff.
3. Ability to install, repair and maintain network and/or computer hardware, software and peripherals.
* Ability to provide a high level of customer service.
* Analytical and problem solving skills are essential, as is the ability to prioritize work and complete assignments in a timely fashion.
* Valid driver''s license with good driving record and proof of current automobile insurance required every six months.
Education and experience:
* Associate''s Degree in Computer Science, Education or a related social services field preferred.
* 2 years experience working in Information Technology or related field preferred.
