Industrialization Engineer
Location: Pittsburgh, PA (onsite)

Mandatory:
Industrialization Eng is similar but is the review and improvement of the task sequence to reduce production times and set methods targets, improve plant layout, suggest and develop new processes to reduce cost of production.

INDUSTRIALIZATION ENGINEER
Purpose of the Job
Implement and apply Lean manufacturing tools in projects executed by Services, as well as implement the execution of tools developed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance.
Develop continuous improvement methodology in Operations.
Collaborate to meet the objectives established by the management for Maintenance Projects.
Responsibilities ::
Definition of the way forward in the execution of the activity:
o - Critical path / work balance / task sequence
o - Workshop layout / workstations
o - Logistics flows (parts & tools location, double bins, kitting, Kanban...)
o - Value stream mapping & takt time analysis
Definition of the operations, the sub-operations and the tasks of each maintenance task to ensure compliance with Maintenance Plan
Creation and update of the Maintenance exams (operations and sub-operations) in SES
Development of industrial documentation: work instructions / SOS for the processes, etc.
Real-time monitoring of maintenance operations ensuring compliance with the established standard or analyzing any possible deviation
Standardization of processes
Equipment / jigs / tools: definition of needs (design, building or purchase, installation and validation)
Application of PDCA cycles to improve maintenance processes
Detection of needs in the workshop and propose improvements
Implementation Lean processes to optimize resources
Implementation of visual management
Creation and follow-up of KPIs and reports
Analysis of SES KPIs, measurement points and control sheets to study improvements in the Maintenance Plan
Collaboration in the planning of the shift activities and resources: work balance
Collaboration in the improvement of the management system
Analysis of incidents based on BTS functional structure and load-capacity balance (preventative versus corrective)
Collaboration to ensure that the Project calibration plan is met
Ensure the achievement of service quality indicators
Compliance with Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational health regulations
Notification of incidents / near misses that affect Railway Safety to its hierarchical superior and EHS managers.
Measurement
Continuous improvement map / standardization of maintenance exams
Management of main KPIs / Drive main KPIs
Contribution to the community of continuous improvement: benchmark, audit, training
Contribution to improve the level of visual management
Improvement in the efficiency of the processes
Educational Requirements
Mandatory: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or similar
Desirable: Master's degrees in Industrial Engineering or similar
Experience
Mandatory:
Minimum of 2 years of experience within continuous improvement environment
Experience in the Railway industry or similar (as aeronautical sector)
Experience with Lean methodology
Knowledge in SAP ERP system user level
Knowledge of general tools: Office suite in advanced level
Desirable:
Experience in the Railway industry, preferably within a maintenance environment
Knowledge of SAP, GSI or other ERP system
Knowledge of Excel Macros programming in Visual Basics
