Install, configure, and administer IBM MQ on distributed platforms.

Create, manage, and monitor MQ objects (queues, channels, listeners, topics, subscriptions, etc.).

Ensure high availability and disaster recovery setups for MQ environments.

Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability, and implement tuning as required.

Troubleshoot and resolve MQ-related issues in production and non-production environments.

Apply security configurations and patches to MQ infrastructure.

Work with development teams to support application integration with IBM MQ.

Provide documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical guidance.

Participate in on-call support and incident management as needed.

Hands-on experience with IBM MQ v8/v9/v9.2 or higher.

Strong knowledge of MQ architecture, clustering, and distributed queue management.

Experience with MQ monitoring tools (e.g., MQ Explorer, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or similar).

Proficiency in scripting (Shell, PowerShell, or Python) for automation.

Good understanding of security protocols (SSL/TLS, certificates) in MQ.

Experience with incident, change, and problem management (ITIL processes)
