Job Description:
· Installation, Customization, and administration of CICS/Transaction Server on IBM Mainframe
· Installation, customization, and administration of Abendaid, TMON, CICS Transaction Gateway, CICSPLEX, CAFC, INTERTEST and WTX on IBM Mainframe.
· Learn and master critical proprietary business systems built on CICS
· Maintain CICS environments in compliance with the security guidelines.
· Assist with testing, implementation, and installation of CICS and associated software.
· Diagnose and resolve CICS environment system abends and abnormal operating problems using system logs, and other available logs and documents.
· Create, define, modify, and understand CICS parameters, CICS RDO definitions, CICS PLT Tables.
· Develop/Maintain/Enhance in-house programs and utilities in COBOL, REXX and Assembler
· Have an understanding and experience of IBM SMP/E environment and ability to use SMP/E to install software
· Ensure stability of the above-mentioned products in support of many critical business applications
· Ability to deliver multiple concurrent agile projects/tasks on time and a focus on quality
· Participate in weekend DR tests
· Participate in an on-call rotation
· Follow a rigorous ITIL-based process
· Minimum years of experience required 8 years
