Title: ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Implementation Specialist
Location: Remote
Duration: Contract: 6+ Months
Job Description:
  • We are seeking a skilled and experienced ServiceNow HAM Implementation Specialist to oversee the design, development, and implementation of hardware asset management solutions within our organization.
  • As part of our IT team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful deployment and maintenance of the ServiceNow HAM module to optimize our hardware asset lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
  • HAM Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design comprehensive hardware asset management solutions leveraging ServiceNow capabilities.
  • Implementation Planning: Develop implementation strategies, timelines, and project plans for deploying HAM functionalities while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Configuration and Customization: Configure ServiceNow HAM module to meet specific business needs, including data model setup, workflows, UI configurations, and integrations with other systems.
  • Data Migration and Management: Oversee the migration of hardware asset data into ServiceNow, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Establish data governance practices for ongoing maintenance.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of the HAM implementation to identify and resolve issues. Ensure the solution meets defined quality standards and fulfills business requirements.
  • Training and Documentation: Develop user training materials and conduct training sessions for stakeholders. Create and maintain documentation related to HAM processes and configurations.
  • Collaboration and Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, procurement, and finance, to align hardware asset management practices. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting post-implementation.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Previous experience (X years) implementing and configuring ServiceNow HAM module or similar IT asset management solutions.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow platform, including expertise in configuration, workflows, scripting, and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of hardware asset lifecycle management principles and best practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certification in ServiceNow administration or HAM would be a plus.
