Guidewire Technical Lead

Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Technical Lead to oversee the design, development, and implementation of Guidewire solutions. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, ensure best practices, and guide the development team while working closely with business and architecture stakeholders within the P&C insurance domain.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of Guidewire applications (ClaimCenter / PolicyCenter / BillingCenter).
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team.
Drive architecture, design decisions, and enforce coding standards.
Oversee configurations, customizations, and integrations.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Review code, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure performance optimization.
Manage releases, upgrades, and deployment activities.
Ensure adherence to Guidewire best practices and project timelines.
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire platform (ClaimCenter / PolicyCenter / BillingCenter).
Expertise in Gosu, PCF, Business Rules, Workflows, and Data Model.
Experience in Guidewire integrations (SOAP / REST, messaging, plugins).
Solid understanding of Guidewire architecture and configuration layers.
Proficiency in Java and relational databases.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Knowledge of P&C Insurance domain.
Preferred Skills:
Guidewire certification(s).
Experience with Guidewire upgrades / migrations.
Familiarity with cloud deployments (Guidewire Cloud is a plus).
Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
Leadership & Soft Skills:
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to lead technical discussions and solution design workshops.
Experience mentoring and coordinating distributed teams.
