Highly skilled and hands-on GCP Cloud Architect with proven experience in designing, building, and managing enterprise-grade cloud platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, cloud security, networking, and governance, with additional exposure to other cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions on GCP.
- Lead the end-to-end design and deployment of GCP cloud platforms, including infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud strategies, standards, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with security, networking, and governance policies.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Evaluate and integrate third-party tools and services to enhance platform capabilities.
- Support migration efforts from on-prem or other cloud platforms to GCP.
- Maintain documentation and architectural diagrams for cloud environments.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture with a focus on GCP.
- Hands-on experience with GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM, VPC, and Cloud Monitoring.
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools (Terraform, GitOps, Jenkins, Cloud Build, etc.).
- Deep knowledge of cloud security principles, identity and access management, and compliance frameworks.
- Solid grasp of networking concepts including VPC design, firewalls, load balancing, and hybrid connectivity.
- Experience with cloud governance, cost optimization, and policy enforcement.
- Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure is a strong plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

- Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect
- Google Cloud Certified - Professional DevOps Engineer
