Appian Platform Engineer

100% Remote

Job Summary

We are seeking an Appian Platform Engineer to manage, support, and optimize the Appian platform infrastructure and environments. The role focuses on platform administration, performance, security, and reliability to ensure smooth operation of Appian applications across environments.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and maintain Appian environments (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod).
Monitor system health, performance, and availability.
Manage Appian upgrades, patches, and platform configuration.
Implement security controls, user access, and role management.
Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Troubleshoot platform and environment issues.
Work with development teams to resolve performance and configuration issues.
Maintain documentation for platform operations and standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong experience in Appian platform administration.
Knowledge of Appian architecture and deployment models.
Experience with Linux/Windows servers and networking basics.
Familiarity with databases and system integrations.
Experience with monitoring tools and log analysis.
Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and release management.
Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Appian Certification.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or Appian Cloud.
Knowledge of scripting (Shell, PowerShell, Python).
Experience with containerization and automation tools.
