Location: CA / NJ / TX (100% Remote).
Duration: C2C and Full Time.

Job Description:
You are a passionate Architect who wants to leverage cloud-based technologies and apply them to provide solutions to interesting business problems. You are an expert GCP Data ecosystem. Strong background or interest in data ingestion, data transformation, DWH, BI technologies. You will take lead in providing strategic direction to an end to end migration of Teradata, PowerBI based data stack from On-Premise to analytic data platform on GCP Cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
· Understand & be expert in integrating GCP based data technologies
· Good understanding of open source, commercial and SaaS data technologies
· Work closely with customer to map existing data platform around Teradata to Cloud based tool choices.
· Drive pilots, spikes to try out new-age technologies to check feasibility of using them.
· Identify & develop appropriate design patterns to build end to end data platform.
· Work closely with customer & persistent leadership to translate vision to WBS (work break-down structure)
· Review deliverables from the team to ensure good quality & future readiness.
· Plan & Own delivery on behalf of the team.
· Participate in deep technical discussions with internal and customer stakeholders
· Lead & guide 2-4 cross-functional POD teams.
Required Skills:
· Prior experience in handling end to end architecture. (back-end, front-end, DevOps)
· Strong thought leadership in exploring ideas and recommending appropriate solutions
· Prior experience in dealing with fast faced multi-skilled agile teams.
· Prior experience of working in GCP data platform
· Good familiarity with at least few areas of Analytics. Some examples below
· BI (Tableau), DWH (Big Query), ETL (Dataflow/Dataproc, DBT, Matillion/Informatica/Talend)
· Security & Governance of data platform
· Understanding of DevOps and container/Docker technologies.
· Highly technical and hand-on in both tactical and strategic capabilities.
· Confident interacting with business peers to understand and identify use case, with a strong ability to articulate solutions and present them to business partners.
· Demonstrated ownership of planning and executing with small team. Providing guidance & mentorship to junior team members.
· Outstanding collaboration and communication skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with distributed teams. Effective communication & empathy in customer interactions.
