Role: ETL Developer

Location: Remote

Duration: Long Term Contract

Project Start date - October 1st

Experience - Must have:

Under limited supervision, design and development ETL solutions using Datastage and Oracle

Experience with designing parallel jobs in Datastage

Experience in using COBOL copybook as a source

Experience with performance tuning and using partitioning methods in Datastage

Strong knowledge in Relational Database Management System, Data Mart and Data Warehouse designs

Strong SQL development skills

Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile Methodologies

Experience with Unix/Linux commands and scripting

Preferred - Good to have:

Knowledge on Information Governance Catalog and Fast Track

Knowledge on Data Vault Model of data warehouse

Healthcare industry experience is preferred

Minimum Qualifications:

At least 5 years of experience as a software developer in data warehousing projects

At least 3 years of experience in using Datastage for ETL development in the recent projects

Experience with creating, executing and documenting unit test plans for ETL.
