ELN Technical Business Analyst Description:
Leading business analysis efforts to deliver R&D information capabilities through IT projects and other delivery mechanisms working closely with Key Users, Project Managers, Solution Architects, and Development teams. Provide best practice in business value delivery strategies, requirements gathering techniques, and user acceptance techniques to various groups in R&D.
ELN Technical Business Analyst Responsibilities:
* Developing deep knowledge of the project and Electronic Lab Notebooks, LIMS.
* Conducting front end analysis including project scoping and appropriate challenge back to R&D team. Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs.
* Interviewing R&D team members to understand current processes, information landscape, bottlenecks, gaps and opportunities.
* High level and detailed requirements expressed as statements or stories
* Provide project level analysis - producing required project analysis documentation (business requirements, User Stories, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, future state proposals, stakeholder maps and UAT plan etc
* Working with Project Management, solution architects, data scientists and development teams in generating and evaluating solution options.
* Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements, provide necessary guidance to testers during QA process
* Identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive)
* Elicit and clearly document business and systems requirements; Demonstrated fluency in business processes and process differentiation
* Working with data architects in mapping data to business functions and applications.
* Manage customer relationships and expectations by developing a communication process.
* Stay current with customer needs and business strategies
* Partnering with internal and external customers to ensure systems provided meet the long-term business strategies and drive integration discussions with new/existing systems.
ELN Technical Business Analyst Required Skills:
* At least 5 years'' experience in working on information systems and/or information management processes associated with life science organizations.
* Bachelor''s Degree in life Sciences or related field; equivalent work experience will be considered Critical knowledge
* Experience in an analyst role for multiple projects using agile software development methodologies is a must.
