One of our clients in Washington, DC, USA needs an Electronic Security Technician
for a contract position.

Job Description
Dedication and desire to daily work as a TIC team member in the defence and
protection of the USA.
Must have critical and common-sense thinking, excellent interpersonal skills, and
relationship report building.
Veterans and former athletes who understand the importance of team as well as
the role they play on that team.
A dedicated individual who wants to earn and learn this industry and advance.
Must be able to work without daily supervision and can handle multiple
assignments at different job sites to 100% completion.
Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair various enterprise level Access Control,
CCTV, and IDS systems.
Perform as lead technician and site supervisor for installation site.
Installation, programming, cabling and testing of security equipment.
Install connectors on multi-conductor cables and performing continuity tests.
Install door strikes, magnetic locks, panels, power supplies, and other
components of a mechanical nature.
Follow specifications, instructions, and standard procedures.
Read wiring schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Ensure all company safety policies and procedures are followed and enforced.
Effectively communicates relevant information to superiors. Insures an
informative and well-organized training for the customer. Resolves and/or
escalates issues in a timely fashion. Maintains awareness of new and emerging
technologies and the potential application on client engagements.
Experience and Qualifications
3 - 10 years of installation of electronic security experience preferred or low
voltage IT solutions.
Possesses or Ability to obtain Certifications for the following:
One (1) or more IP Video Certifications / Verint Milestone Bosch Preferred
One (1) or more Physical Access Control Certificates (PACS) IDENTIV and
AMAG preferred; or a Mercury hardware based PACS systems.
One (1) or more Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) DMP & Radionics Preferred
Desirable Skills:
Must be able to obtain Virginia or Maryland Security License
Must be able to meet governmental PIV badging requirements
Must have clean record and no felony convictions
Must have clean financial record no late past due Federal State taxes or late past
due Federal student payments
Must be able/willing to travel (in state and out of state work sites
Must have a clean driving record and a State issued License
