Job Description:
Responsibilities:
· Analysis of UX designs (i.e wireframes) and API and database activities to develop test plans
· Consult with developers to understand the code coverage and contracts/boundaries that needs to test across various user roles
· Execute the testing approaches based on various user personas
· Participation in team accessibility standards and technical reference collateral updates, process to improve Automated and manual testing
· Evangelize the testing and performance testing effort across organization.
· Assists team in conducting end-to-end testing on applications and technology, to ensure that business, technical, functional requirements are being met throughout the SDLC.
· Prepares and executes test scripts based upon test strategy/plans in an effort to identify defects prior to production. Tests may be manual, automated or both.
· May also include Production Certification which requires manual/automated scripts be executed to certify production health and/or identify post-production defects.
· Test analyst is responsible for defining the test strategy and approach.
Qualifications and Attributes
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related degree, or equivalent work experience
· More than 6+ years professional development experience testing applications
· Experience of 6+ years in automated testing for 3.5/4.5 and .NET core 2.0 applications
· Experience of 6+ years automated testing of Windows Presentation Layer (WFP), custom controls.
· Experience of 6+ years in React and ASP.NET MVC supporting user interface.
· Experience of 6+ years of experience in MS SQL, and Postgres database.
· Experience of testing WEB API using various .NET frameworks.
· Experience in testing hardware integration is a strong plus
· Knowledge of a public cloud (preferably Microsoft Azure)
· Awareness of Azure Service Fabric and other Azure services
· Azure Certification is plus point
· Tools – Jira, Postman, Selenium or any industry tool for automation and manual testing.
