.NET Web Developer – Onsite in Dallas, TX (1-2 days remote – Hybrid schedule)

12 Months Contract-Hire

 

Job Description:

  • Provide support for the Company’s web applications, New Policy Administration system and monitoring and fixing all software issues; resolving all web issues that agents may have; Production support, resolving internal Work Orders as reported to the Service/Help Desk by the business units. Converting RTR legacy states into new policy administration system. Work with vendor for requirement gathering and bug reporting.
  • New State Development by developing all software code changes to the the Web applications per business needs. Implementing RealTimeRater functionality with identified vendors in that state. Working on Data mappings with business analyst. Integration testing and bug fixing with Vendor at development stage. Preparing the code to deploy in QA/UAT environments. Fixings bugs in QA/UAT phase. Hands on experience with Azure DevOps. Writing SQL scripts to load data. Work with vendor for requirement gathering and bug reporting.
  • Prepare code for testing by creating unit tests and ensuring they pass before handing over to QA. Assist QA with integration testing and fixing defects. Assist UAT before deploying to production.

Education:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of technical experience; insurance background preferred

  • The ability to handle complex problems effectively
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
