Job Title: DevSecOps Engineer Job ID: # 714893 Start Date: ASAP No. Of Opening: 1 Duration: 6 Months+ Location: Remote across USA Compensation: Under $120/hr. including Partner fee Interview process: 2 Rounds with ITP Job Description- Intuitive.Cloud is looking for a talented and expert level DevSecOps Architect/Engineer to join our fast-growing DevSecOps consulting practice to lead/coach/support DevSecOps and Cloud Security projects. This role requires both strategic advisory experience and hands-on expertise to help our clients to accelerate their DevSecOps transformation journey from program level advisory to hands-on implementation and automation. As the subject matter expert and trusted advisor, you will help shape organizational culture to embrace a DevOps mindset, articulate the value of DevSecOps, advise on leading practices and patterns around how to integrate and operationalize security within a high velocity development and deployment pipeline, hands-on coaching developers in building and deploying secure cloud native applications, infrastructure automation, and secure deployments to the cloud. Additionally, you get to test and deploy leading vendor solutions in the application security and cloud security space, as well as assisting our sales team to understand client’s business goals and technical requirements in order to rationalize the appropriate technology solutions for their use cases. What You’ll Do: · Serve in lead architect roles in DevSecOps implementation projects · Champion Agile and DevOps leading-practices, processes, design patterns, and tools in support of DevSecOps transformation · Design, implement, manage, and automate DevSecOps capabilities in cloud offerings (primarily MSFT Azure) using CI/CD toolsets and automation · Establish strong and lasting relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers in client organizations · Contribute to the development of service offering collaterals and service delivery documentations that we can take to market · Partner and collaborate with Sales Teams and other Technology Teams to deliver and present domain related thought leadership materials to clients. · Lead pre-sales engagements as the DevSecOps subject matter expert to solve customer problems and translate customer requirements into deliverable services · Assist in services opportunity generation, technical scoping, and Statements of Work (SOW) writing Qualifications & Interests: · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience · Minimum of 12 years of combined hands-on experience as a software engineer, DevOps engineer, Cloud Architect, and/or Application Security engineer · Minimum of associate level proficiency and 4 years of experience in at least one major public cloud providers (Microsoft Azure strongly desired) · Preferred Architect level and Security specialty certification from MSFT Azure · Prior hands-on experience in a key contributing role for a large DevSecOps transformation · Strong experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban · Programming and scripting proficiency: C#, Java, Typescript, Javascript, Bash, PowerShell, Python, Go · Hands on proficiency in common DevOps Tools (Azure DevOps strongly preferred) · Hands on experience with Infrastructure-as-code and config tools such as Terraform and Ansible/Chef · Experience in Automated Testing and testing frameworks (Bonus points for having experience writing security unit tests) · Experience with security automation throughout CI/CD lifecycle · Experience integrating and operating application security solutions (SAST/SCA/DAST/IAST) such as Veracode, Checkmarx, Synopsys, WhiteSource, Snyk, Blackduck, Contrast Security · Experience integrating and operating container security (CWPP) solutions such as Aqua Security, Palo Alto Prisma Cloud Compute (Twistlock), Sysdig, StackRox · Working understanding of Deployment Strategies and Patterns including Blue/Green Deployment, Canary Releases, and Rolling Releases · Solid understanding of cloud native development patterns and microservices architecture · Strong working knowledge of building, deploying, and securing containers and Kubernetes (bonus points for having production Kubernetes experience, CKAD/CKA/CKS certified) · Experience with Services Mesh · Experience with secrets management solutions such as HashiCorp Vault · Understanding of service-oriented architecture (REST APIs, micro-services, etc) and security best practices · Experience with on-premises infrastructure as well as public and hybrid cloud methodologies · Understanding of OWASP Top 10, OWASP Serverless Top 10, OWASP API Top 10, and OWASP ASVS · Bonus points for application security experience in the form of secure coding and threat modelling experience · Bonus points for prior SRE experience · Bonus points for prior consulting experience · CISSP Certified, or willing to obtain certification within 12 months · Must have excellent interpersonal skills, a high degree of professionalism and the ability to design technology solutions for commercial and large enterprise companies · Excellent presentation, communication, and writing skills required
