Specific Description:
Resource will manage the release and environment deliverables for a production database/performance testing environment for a suite of 6 - 10 application platforms. Candidate must have demonstrated ability to successfully juggle multiple priority deliverables, communicate well both verbally and in written form, and have a good working knowledge of middleware with Oracle databases and firewalls.
General description:
Directs and monitors all activities for large, high risk, major technology-based initiatives from initiation to delivery. Initiatives cross platforms, applications, and/or business lines. Works with business partners to develop technology concepts, requirements, design alternatives, schedules, and costs for new systems initiatives. Plans and directs complex program schedules and budget, monitoring status in comparison to cost/time projections. Provides consistent and comprehensive status reports, initiative updates, and ongoing cost analyses, significant issue management and resolution, communication with business lines and technology management, often at senior management levels. May serve as a lead by providing direction to less experienced technical initiative support staff while serving in an initiative leadership role. 7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: technical support, technical implementation or technical project management Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
