High Performance Computing Engineer

End User Services

 

  • Review of the virtual desktop/cycle harvesting environment for impact/potential impact caused by cycle harvesting

 

  • Utilization review of the virtual desktops for performance impact related or unrelated to cycle harvesting

 

  • Monitoring of HPC environment for performance

 

  • Review of different HPC environments for nodes in error state or offline

 

  • Work with customer to identify improvements to the HPC environment

 

  • Build new or replacement HPC workstation nodes

 

  • Troubleshooting problem nodes

 

  • Root cause analysis of HPC issues

 

  • Inter-team collaboration for development, optimization, and support of the environment

 

  • Build, upgrade, modify head nodes

 

  • Document technical details and processes

 

  • Experience in Azure HPC

 

  • Experience with GPU in a VMWare environment

  • Excellent hands on Experience with Microsoft high-performance computing (HPC)
