JOB DESCRIPTION:-
Candidate should be willing to work flexible shift timings.
Should have experience working with Global clients.
Should have a total 10+ years of relevant experience in IT Infrastructure support Management.
Should be involved into Datacenter Operations Management role from past 7 to 10 years where His/ Her role should be Operations Manager for at least the past 5 years.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:-
Infrastructure capacity planning for Project / application platform project DBs
Database design and deployment.
Database Performance Tuning for platform projects.
Implement Backup and recovery strategy for databases.
SQL Performance Tuning during SDLC
Carry out in-depth technical problem analysis and resolution for Oracle databases
Data model review, deployment and migration for each subject area/workstream.
Prepare the upgrade plan for Databases, and upgrade platform DBs to latest version.
Database cloning and Refresh
Participate in SIT/UAT and production rollout of each project.
Work with Support teams to troubleshoot production issues.
Implement database Engineering standards and ensure compliance.
Identify and implement Oracle database process improvements.
Apps Role :
Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products.
Starting and Stopping the application
Monitoring the application related products like oacore, oafm apache etc.
Bouncing apache, oacore, oafm if needed
Establish and maintain backup and recovery policies and procedures.
Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges
Interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support.
