Job Summary
We are seeking a Certified ServiceNow Developer / Architect to design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions aligned with business requirements and best practices. The role involves hands-on development, platform architecture, integrations, and technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Development & Configuration
- Design and develop ServiceNow applications using best practices
- Configure and customize ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and CMDB
- Develop Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Script Includes
Architecture & Integration
- Define ServiceNow technical architecture and platform strategy
- Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and IntegrationHub
- Ensure scalability, security, and performance of ServiceNow solutions
Platform Management & Governance
- Manage upgrades, patches, and release cycles
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development standards and SDLC
- Provide guidance on security roles, ACLs, and data model design
Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor junior developers and review code
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Support production issues and continuous improvements
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong experience in ServiceNow development and architecture
- Hands-on expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub
- Experience with Service Portal / Now Experience UI
- Strong knowledge of CMDB and CSDM
Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – required
- Certified Application Developer (CAD) and/or Certified Implementation Specialist – preferred
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to lead and work independently
Experience & Education
- 5–10 years of IT experience
- 3–5 years of ServiceNow hands-on experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent
Preferred / Nice to Have
- ServiceNow Architect-level certification
- Experience with Agile / DevOps
- Exposure to multi-instance or global ServiceNow environments
