Vendor Relationship Specialist (IT Vendor Manager) Plano, TX Fulltime/ Permanent Experience & Qualifications: Looking for someone with 3+ years of experience Managing relationships between technical teams and external vendors Prior experience with VMS systems & and understanding of standard CWF reporting. Experience with contract management and negotiating contracts. Demonstrated ability to work independently, decisiveness, and sound judgment are required. Experience and knowledge of contingent workforce processes. Experience in negotiation, relationship management, conflict resolution, and effective oral and written communication at all levels Collects information about external marketplaces, and serves as a resource on this knowledge to the organization Provides Information about vendors, offerings, and options interacts with vendors to resolve escalated issues and plan for future software releases Resolves complaints, adjusts, or corrects mistakes regarding specific products, services, capabilities Monitors progress and performance of Vendor services based on more -complex statements of work Responsible for managing Statements of work for Contingent labor May perform negotiations with established and new vendor partners. Roles & Responsibilities: Manage the relationships between client's technology services and external vendors. Administer the contracts with hardware and software vendors. Collect information about external marketplace (not limited to technology) and serves as a resource on this knowledge to the organization. Provide information and advice about technology vendors, offerings, and options. May interact with vendor to resolve escalated problems and plan for future releases of software. Resolve complaints, adjust, or correct mistakes regarding a specific set of products, services, capabilities, issues, or questions. Resolve problems with new and existing software applications. Proficiently applies IT methods, professional knowledge and Mercy standards and practices to complex tasks and situations. Intuitively grasps familiar, stable system performance situations. Respond to unfamiliar, undefined, unexpected, or unstable situations with the professionally prescribed standard response. Effective in relationships with business partners, professional peers, and other team members.
