Job Title: Cherwell ITSM software support and configuration experience Location: Grapevine, TX Duration: 6+ months Cherwell Administrator ITSM Administrator (Cherwell) with a comprehensive skill set in the core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change and Service Catalog. Role: The ITSM Administrator will primarily focus on designing and delivering ITSM solutions that are developed with the Cherwell on premise platform. The ITSM Administrator adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible solutions to moderately complex problems. The ITSM Administrator recommends methods and procedures and collaborates with other team members as needed. Primary Responsibilities: Obtain and analyze business requirements and document technical solutions Provide software configuration and customization including, but not limited to: screen tailoring, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, integration, custom scripting and third party software integrations Develop, design and rollout new application modules, workflows and catalog requests Research new functionality and recommend solutions that deliver customer value Job Responsibilities Maintain relationships with platform users, customers, and stakeholders Gather and translate requirements for new and updated features Advise on enterprise wide ITIL best practices Responsible for design, development, testing, and support of all platform features and functions Drive continuous platform and process improvement Create custom dashboards and reporting Provision user access and maintain team membership Provide user training where needed Create documentation and knowledge articles Be a platform advocate and find new areas of the enterprise that could benefit from it Teach and enable teammates to perform your essential duties in case of emergency Basic Qualifications: Minimum 3+ years of experience supporting the implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development of the Cherwell tool Cherwell experience should include scripting in Cherwell, tool configuration, design work, technical configuration and deployment of ITSM modules. Specifically, candidates shall possess the skill to develop on the Cherwell platform including the creation and/or customization of the core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change and Service Catalog as well as proficiency in key Cherwell Service Management administrative functions such as Blueprints, mApps and Automation Processes Experience in the design and configuration of the Cherwell Self-Service Portal System/Process Automation (Orchestration) experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Skills: Understanding of Configuration Management aligned to ITIL Web Services Integration Experience implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology Experienced in the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes Administration of a Cherwell instance including the delegation of groups Implementation and administration of Cherwell's CAM inventory solution ITIL certifications is a plus Cherwell CSM Certifications is a plus
