Job Description :

Job Summary:

Hiring a technical BA to lead and document requirements for multiple applications .  Individual must be a self-starter that can transpose business requirements into technical requirements to be handed off to the developers. 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Elicits and clearly defines and documents needs and associated requirements (Use Cases, Functional, Non-Functional, Configuration, and Alert Requirements)
  • Create, maintain, and enforce standards/procedures for documenting requirements and use cases.
  • Analyzes a variety of work processes and the associated document and information flow
  • Creates minor design changes in the form of comps/mock-ups, sequence diagrams, or dataflows for review by business client
  • Clearly articulates and documents business requirements
  • Facilitate meetings including design, requirements gathering, resourcing, etc.
  • Assesses the risks of various solutions and prioritizes competing business demands

Other Responsibilities:

  • Manages ongoing relationship with business partner to drive satisfaction
  • Coordinates project delivery by participating in design reviews to communicate systems designs and validate proposed solutions
  • Obtains key inputs from enterprise architecture teams and identifies solution interdependencies
  • Engages with knowledge workers to incorporate usability and user interface needs when designing systems
  • Process JIRA tickets for application portfolio
  • Can perform quality assurance for troubleshooting activities, as needed

Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:
Job Qualifications_

  • Broad IT domain experience in three or more of the following IT areas: Applications Development, Enterprise Architecture, Project Management, Vendor Management, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure, and Maintenance & Support.
  • Knowledge of software development and architectural concepts, principles, and tools relevant the development of applications, organizational structure, and so forth
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in both verbal and written communication
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Agile software and project management methodologies

 

Education and Experience_

  • BA/BS degree, 10+ years of work experience
  • 1-2 years BA experience, minimum
  • Automotive or OEM experience is preferred.
