Job Profile Summary
Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to work within their Technology organization. The role will be focused on gathering requirements from internal business users to determine the best approach to integrating, converting and implementing the current Core functionality to the new Core Replacement application. The position functions includes overseeing requirements, determining gaps, configuring, converting, developing, testing and implementation of the new Core application. The SME will work closely with the vendor to assure best practices and approaches are used to configure the new Core application and integrate it with all required applications. The SME will coordinate and advise on the conversion of data from ICBS to the new Core application Jack Henry SilverLake to achieve a timely, successful implementation.
Duties & Responsibilities
Performing various tasks relating to Requirements gathering, analysis and documentation
* Interface and work closely with the vendor and business to determine the best configuration of the application
* Manage and strongly Interface with the conversion teams of the sending and receiving applications to assure data mapping for all conversions is defined, developed, tested and implemented successfully
* Work closely with the business community to recommend and advise on application functionality and best practices for process flows utilizing the application
* Own, manage, and improve upon a consistent approach to the Requirements & Design Phase of development.
* The candidate will work with business user community to ensure coordination between related efforts including the execution of user acceptance testing as well as issue tracking
* Participate in all meetings with the both the business and technology teams to receive advise on specifics for requirements.
* The candidate will also have the responsibility of ensuring that the delivered solution and the configuration in the application meets the business requirement
* Participate in peer reviews and inspections of requirement documents.
* Advise on changes to baseline requirements through the change control process
* Participate and advise on the creation of test scripts including specific test cases and expected results
* Review System Integration Testing (SIT) test plan to ensure coverage of test scenarios in SIT.
* Advise on User Acceptance Test (UAT) plans that will ensure business requirements have been met.
* Advise and participate in analysis to determine and verify business requirements and functional design
* Utilizes standard processes, design and testing tools throughout project development life cycle
This will be a highly dynamic environment where an energetic positive attitude, multi-tasking and the ability to jump in and add value is a requirement.
Experience/Education Required
* Bachelor''s Degree required
* Experience with Jack Henry Synergy Document Management is required
* 8 or more years of experience working as a Sr. BA/Subject Matter Expertise on major Core applications with a focus on designing COLD reports / Imaging systems and their key components, for example:
* ApplicationXtender (AX)
* Branch Capture
* Kofax
* Accomplished in using best practices for gathering and documenting complete and detailed requirements to setup a COLD Imaging system
* Experience with core banking implementations and conversion with major Core applications is required
* Experience interfacing with external vendors to define requirements and gaps is required
* Commercial Banking experience is required
