Job Description :
We are looking for a Full-time contractor or employee for a Business Analyst role at one of our client sites.
Reviews, analyzes, evaluates, and documents business processes and user needs as a member of the Cash Draw and Expenditure Reporting (CDER) team. Assists with business process reengineering. Familiar with industry-standard business process mapping and reengineering. Prepares solution options, identifies risks, and performs other analyses as needed. Writes detailed descriptions of business processes and steps required to develop or modify processes. Effectively plans and facilitates meetings and organizes process mapping documentation. Works in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Provide technical assistance to Project Managers by documenting and mapping current and future business processes due to the changes needed for a large-scale system replacement effort.
  • Work with project managers and business users to reengineer processes. 
  • Identify changes needed to business processes and work with business users to prepare solution options, identify risks, and other analyses as required. 
  • Write detailed descriptions of business processes to include steps required to develop or modify processes for daily business activities. 
  • Plan and facilitate meetings and follow up on action items.
  • Organize business process mapping documentation.
  • Provide detailed updates to project managers or other stakeholders.
  • Perform related work as assigned.

Skills(Required):
  • Experience reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs
  • Thorough understanding of the business analysis areas of knowledge and its associated activities and tasks
  • Extensive skill in planning and organizing work to meet goals and complete multiple assignments without compromising accuracy
  • Provide technical assistance to Project Managers by documenting and mapping current and future business processes due to the changes needed for a large-scale system replacement effort
  • Work with project managers and business users to re-engineer processes
  • Identify changes needed to business processes and work with business users to prepare solution options, identify risks, and other analyses as required
  • Write detailed descriptions of business processes to include steps required to develop or modify processes for daily business activities
  • Plan and facilitate meetings and follow up on action items
  • Organize business process mapping documentation
  • Provide detailed updates to project managers or other stakeholders

Skills(Preferred):
  • Experience working as an Organizational Change Management Analyst for an IT implementation project
  • State of Texas experience
  • Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) experience
  • SharePoint
  • Uniform Statewide Accounting System (USAS) / Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System for Texas (CAPPS)
