Azure Data Engineer
Location: Quincy, MA or Salisbury, NC
Duration: 6Months – 1 Year
6 Azure Data Engineer positions (location can be either Quincy, MA or Salisbury, NC)
* Excellent problem solving, Critical and Analytical thinking skills
* Expert in USQL, Java, Python, Hive SQL, Spark SQL, Data Bricks
* Strong t-SQL skills with experience in Azure SQL DW
* Good understanding of general Azure architecture
* Experience handling Structured and unstructured datasets
* Experience in Data Modeling and Advanced SQL techniques
* Experience implementing data pipelines using latest technologies and techniques
* Good Hadoop, Spark, Repository understanding and data management
Requirements
· Design and own short-term and long-term solution architecture for the data & analytics platform.

· Develop and own solution architecture, development and maintenance of all data solutions in Data & Analytics platform as an Individual contributor and technical thought leader.

· Design Data & Analytics platform using best practices and implement a system that is highly performant and best usable to the business users and data scientists.
·
· Be a trusted advisor and thought leader providing GAP analysis for new projects considering existing technologies, next generation technologies and required solutions.

· Works with business users, data scientists to design, develop, test, and implement business intelligence solutions in the Data & Analytics Platform.

· Strong technical expertise in Data and Analytics cloud technologies - especially in Azure - Azure Data Bricks, Azure SQL DW, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake (Gen 1 and Gen 2), Azure HDInsights, Azure DevOps, Azure Data Lake Analytics
