JD:
  • Cloud Architecture Leadership:** Provide strategic leadership in designing, implementing, and managing AWS-based cloud infrastructure solutions, aligning with organizational goals.
  • Kubernetes Expertise:** Demonstrate expertise in Kubernetes, including deployment, orchestration, and management of containerized applications within AWS environments.
  • Container Orchestration:** Lead the design and implementation of container orchestration strategies using Kubernetes, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance of containerized applications.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC):** Implement Infrastructure as Code principles using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to automate the provisioning and management of AWS resources.
  • DevOps Integration:** Foster DevOps practices by integrating AWS services and Kubernetes into CI/CD pipelines. Automate deployment processes for increased efficiency.
  • Security and Compliance:** Establish and enforce security best practices for AWS and Kubernetes environments. Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational security policies.
  • Performance Optimization:** Optimize AWS and Kubernetes configurations for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Implement monitoring and alerting for proactive issue resolution.
  • Cost Management:** Develop cost-effective solutions, monitor resource utilization, and implement strategies for cost optimization within AWS and Kubernetes environments.
  • Capacity Planning:** Collaborate with teams to perform capacity planning and ensure that AWS and Kubernetes resources meet the requirements of current and future workloads.
  • High Availability and Disaster Recovery:** Design and implement solutions for high availability and disaster recovery within AWS and Kubernetes, considering business continuity requirements.
  • Team Collaboration:** Lead a team of AWS and Kubernetes engineers, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Continuous Learning:** Stay abreast of AWS and Kubernetes updates, industry best practices, and emerging technologies. Drive a culture of continuous learning within the team.
  • Troubleshooting and Support:** Provide expertise in the resolution of complex issues related to AWS and Kubernetes. Collaborate with support teams to ensure timely problem resolution.
  • Documentation:** Maintain comprehensive documentation of AWS and Kubernetes configurations, deployment processes, and best practices. Ensure documentation is accessible and up-to-date.
  • Vendor Management:** Collaborate with AWS and Kubernetes vendors to stay informed about new features, resolve issues, and influence product roadmaps to align with organizational needs.
  • Communication Skills:** Effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Project Management:** Manage and prioritize tasks, projects, and deadlines effectively. Ensure timely delivery of AWS and Kubernetes solutions within scope and budget.
