Job Title: AWS DevOps Engineer Location: Dallas, TX or Remote Job Description: AWS DevOps Engineer will be a technical expert for DevOps practices within the organization, providing solutions and technical implementation aligned with the automation program objectives. Responsibilities Delivers new automation to reduce/remove manual effort for infrastructure/software deployments and configuration. Build and upgrade new application infrastructure environments. Provide input and consulting on application and infrastructure resiliency and scaling to the enterprise level. Work with development teams to shape the architecture, design, and implementations of new and existing systems to enhance their reliability, performance, efficiency, and scalability. Ensure all key services are measured, monitored and raising alerts when needed Develop automation of application deployment and configuration, and develop reliability tools and frameworks. Research, develop, configure and implement tools for continuous integration and continuous delivery Drive efficiencies in capacity planning, configuration management, performance tuning, monitoring, backup/restore and root cause analysis. Required Qualifications 10+ years' of working experience on DevOps and using tools like Jenkins Pipelines, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, etc. 6+ years of working experience on Azure DevOps (ADO) and/or AWS DevOps frameworks and tool, including Azure Pipelines, Deploy, Monitor, etc. 4+ years of working experience on Terraform for Infrastructure as a Code (IaC Proven working experience on Kubernetes, especially ECS/EKS (AWS) Kubernetes and/or AKS (Azure service), preferably an administration level expertise. Good experience in working on an agile scrum project delivery while adopting scrum ceremonies (backlog grooming, planning, daily standups, retrospective and review/demo) Good experience with revision control systems including branching, pulling, tagging using Git/GitHub Certifications (MUST): AWS DevOps professional or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) AWS Certified SA Associate Hashicorp Terraform Certified Kubernetes Administrator Education Bachelor of Science
