We are hiring an AWS Cloud Engineer Remote for one of our clients.
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, database management with Amazon RDS, and event-driven architectures using Amazon SNS. You will work closely with DevOps, development, and security teams to build reliable and automated cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services.
- Build and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Provision and manage relational databases using Amazon RDS.
- Implement messaging and notification workflows using Amazon Simple Notification Service.
- Automate infrastructure deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
- Ensure high availability, security, and performance of AWS services.
- Configure backup strategies, failover, and disaster recovery for databases.
- Integrate SNS with services such as Lambda, SQS, and monitoring alerts.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to design cloud-native architectures.
- Implement security best practices including IAM roles, encryption, and network policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience working with AWS cloud services.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
- Strong experience managing databases on Amazon RDS.
- Experience implementing event-driven systems using Amazon Simple Notification Service.
- Knowledge of networking concepts (VPC, subnets, security groups).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Amazon CloudWatch.
- Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Bash)..
